Fragmented Ideas

Fragmented ideas—
jigsaw pieces that will never quite fit together
and form the grand picture that I had always dreamt of,
casting a dense fog over my hazy focus—
sitting in an abandoned notebook each day,
waiting for the perfect moment to finally make sense, 
to finally connect in a way of which I approve—
and yet with each day that passes
the fog only grows thicker.
